Karen Denham King, ESP, CRHS, RTS

Karen has been professionally transforming spaces for more than seven years. She creates timeless and affordable designs that you’ll love for years to come. She earned her home staging Expert Psychological Stager certification (EPS) in 2016 and became a certified Residential Transition Specialist (RTS) in 2020.

Karen feels a home should reflect the owner’s interests and be a relaxing refuge from the rest of the world.  She shares Lauren Liess’ opinion, author of Habitat, “Decorating is about envisioning how people will wake up, perform daily routines, cook, eat, be with loved ones, party, relax, work, play… it’s about living.”

She previously was a Design Specialist at Pottery Barn. There she honed her skills in furniture placement, fabric selection and creating the right mix of elements to give a home that “just right” feel.

Before diving into home interiors, Karen spent 14 years in public relations at Chase Bank and Family & Children’s Place.  While her children were young, she was a substitute teacher at St Francis Preschool.  She holds a Journalism degree from Western Kentucky University.

Karen lives with her husband, son, daughter (when she is on break from college), and a dog named Oliver.
